How to archive accounts on Bujeti?

Sometimes, you need to clean house, declutter your view and keep only the accounts that matter. That’s where archiving comes in. Bujeti makes it easy to archive any account you’re no longer using, without losing your transaction history.
What happens when you archive an account?
Before archiving, here’s what to expect:
Funds in the account are liquidated into your main Bujeti account automatically.
The account is frozen, meaning you can no longer send or receive funds from it.
Transaction history remains accessible, especially useful for audit, reporting, or compliance purposes.
So, while the account won’t appear in your active list anymore, it’s still part of your financial story, just tucked away.
That said, follow these simple steps to archive an account from your dashboard:
Step 1: Go to the ‘Accounts’ tab

From your Bujeti dashboard, click on Accounts in the left-hand menu. You’ll see all your accounts listed under the “All accounts” tab including Bujeti accounts, subaccounts, and external accounts.
Step 2: Find the account you want to archive

Scroll through the list and locate the account you’d like to archive. Click on the three-dot icon (⋮) next to that account’s name to open the action menu.
Step 3: Select ‘Archive account’

From the dropdown, choose Archive account. A confirmation prompt will appear asking if you're sure you want to archive it.
Step 4: Confirm the action
Click the red Archive button to confirm. The account will be archived and removed from your active view, but don’t worry, all the records are still safely stored.
